As followers of Jesus, we are: (1) Sinners; (2) Sufferers; & (3) Saints. So when God tells us to "rejoice always, pray without ceasing & give thanks in all circumstances because this is the will of God in Christ Jesus," (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)...He's calling us to rejoice, pray & thank Him TOGETHER.
